May 14, 2020 – Transparency
Transparency in the delivery of your product or cargo is very important in today’s business climate. People have always had the desire to know, to learn, to understand, and to be able to anticipate just about anything in their lives.
20 years ago, the location of the cargo was an unknown until it was delivered. You could make a call to a courier company to track your package, but the best you could get was a ‘ballpark’ estimate. Technology for tracking simply wasn’t up to the task of being a real time, affordable solution.
10 years ago you could track your package with a tracking number, a big improvement over the decade before. Naturally, it came with drawbacks – the information was limited to the last point in the supply chain in which it was recorded (warehouse, pickup, transfer to another company, etc).
Today, however, technology has advanced to the point where real-time tracking is affordable, easy – and expected. You can find out where the driver is and anticipate almost exactly when the package will be delivered. This visibility has improved business to business relationships with well run companies and results in consistent improvement.

The COVID-19 crisis has presented us all with unique challenges. Individuals need basic necessities and businesses that need to continue operating. We understand the seriousness of this virus as well as the need for local, regional, and national supply chains to continue operating. Pickup and delivery of these much needed supplies is more important than ever.
We are embracing Contactless Deliveries, which minimizes the amount of person-to-person contact. We are partnering with our customers and their clients to make this possible. Our associates wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for their safety, as well as the safety of every person involved in each delivery process.
